About
Our restaurant is named for the beautiful and grand hotel El Vernona which was built on its very site in 1926 and would have looked very much at home on a Tuscan hillside. Vernona carries on the tradition and is decorated like a sunny garden room in an Italian villa. It is stylish, inviting and yet intimate. You’ll feel immediately at home from the warmth of our welcome and of our environment.
Our Mobil Four-Star signature restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and a bountiful Sunday brunch. Vernona continues to win awards with its intensely fresh and flavorful cuisine and was named Best Overall Restaurant in Florida by Florida International magazine.
Vernona was named one the state’s Best Restaurants in 2010 by Florida Trend magazine.
A private dining room is available as an exclusive setting for special events.

Executive Service Luncheon at Vernona
An expeditiously-served business lunch offering a three-course meal served in one presentation in less than 15 minutes. A variety of prix fixe menus are available and are served in Vernona weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in addition to the regular Vernona lunch menu.

Sunday Brunch Celebration
Sunday Brunch features an array of specialties from around the world that winds its way through the restaurant on more than twelve culinary stations. Brunch is accompanied by a complimentary glass of champagne.
Sunday Brunch at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota is $69 for adults; $35 for children (ages 6 – 12). Reservations can be made by calling (941) 309-2008.
Attire
For breakfast and lunch, Resort Casual attire is recommended. For dinner and Sunday brunch, attire is Upscale Resort Casual (no jeans or sneakers please.)
Hours
Breakfast: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Dinner: Sunday to Thursday 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Sunday Brunch: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
