Vernona Farmer’s Market Lunch & Cooking Class

Come learn how to select the best produce from the local farmer’s market with Chef Greg Howe, the chef de cuisine of Vernona. Then watch him prepare a three-course lunch out of the purchased organic and/or local produce. Enjoy the lunch with a glass of wine for $55.

Vernona’s Market Lunch takes place on the last Saturday of each month through May.

The event begins in the Lobby Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton at 9 a.m., where guests gather for coffee and an organic smoothie. The class then moves on to the Farmer’s Market, where they learn about buying locally produced seafood, vegetables and herbs.

The class finally returns from the Farmer’s Market to the Ritz-Carlton, where Chef Howe creates a “from market-to-table” three-course lunch. $55.
